Transverse sinus venous thrombosis
The symptom of a blood clot forming in the vein that is situated in the area between the brain and the skull behind the right ear. The transverse sinus is one of the major veins that drains the brain and let the blood out. Transverse sinus venous thrombosis is an uncommon but serious disorder. Once the transverse sinus vain is blocked, the cerebral spinal fluid inside the head and spine can no longer flows through it, leading to potential brain damage and strokes.
There are the right and left transverse venous sinuses so if one is blocked by thrombosis, the other one can technically take over as a detour.
