A light, volatile fuel with a boiling point between gasoline and light distillate. Its properties are defined in MIL-T-5624, Turbine Fuel, Aviation, Grade JP4, JP5, and JP5/JP8ST, and are similar to ASTM D 1655, Standard Specification for Aviation Turbine Fuels(JetB), and ASTM D 2880, Standard Specification for Gas Turbine Fuel Oils.
