Wayne Rooney

Wayne Mark Rooney (born 24 October 1985)is an English footballer. He plays as striker for Premier League club Manchester United and on the England national team.He started playing football at the age of 9 for Everton youth team, playing his first professional game in 2002. He made his international debut in 2003, becoming the youngest player before Theo Walcott to play for England, and remains England's youngest goalscorer.As of October 2012 he has scored a total of 32 goals ofr England and earnt 78 international caps.He is both England's fifth highest goal scorer and its most red carded player, as well as being United's fourth-highest goal scorer with a total of 180 goals.He is the third highest paid footballer in the world after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
